Fees & Payment Info

My standard fees are:

 

• 15-minute initial consultation: $0

• 60-minute individual therapy session: $250

• 90-minute therapy session: $320

 

My fees reflect the depth of the work we do together, the experience I bring to the process, and the intentionally small size of my practice. I charge my clients for my time and expertise, though my heart is free.

 

Over the years I have seen how powerful this work can be when people have a safe space and are truly ready to begin the process of changing their lives. When people are ready for this kind of work, meaningful transformation is very possible. With sufficient time, energy, motivation, and guidance from an experienced therapist, people can make profound and lasting shifts in their lives.

My work is informed by depth approaches, including Internal Family Systems therapy, which I have been using for roughly 25 years. In a respectful and compassionate way, IFS focuses on relationships, both how we relate to others and how we relate to parts of ourselves. Rather than simply relieving symptoms, this work helps people address the deeper roots of suffering and supports meaningful, lasting change.

 

Not everyone is looking for this kind of work, and that is completely understandable. Many people who reach out to my practice are seeking something deeper than symptom management and feel ready to engage in a meaningful process of self understanding and change.

 

Because of the nature of this process, I tend to work best with people who are ready to engage in deeper self reflection and meaningful change. Many of the people who seek out my practice are motivated to understand themselves more fully and are prepared to devote time and energy to changing their lives.

 

For this reason, I am thoughtful about the number of clients I take on and keep my caseload intentionally limited. This allows me to bring my full attention, experience, and care to the work we do together.

 

Sliding Scale

I reserve a limited number of sliding scale spaces for clients experiencing financial hardship. If the standard fee creates a barrier to receiving care, you are welcome to reach out to discuss whether a reduced fee space may be available.

 

Insurance

I am an out of network provider and do not bill insurance directly. I can provide a monthly superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

 

Payment Methods

I accept all major credit cards, HSA cards, and debit cards through the secure SimplePractice platform. I also accept cash and checks for clients I see in person. Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
